PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always and stably obtain a high image quality by preventing soiling of a surface of an electrophotographic sensitive body due to direct electrification and a cleanerless process and blurring and streaking of an image caused by it. SOLUTION: In this method, image formation is carried out including an electrifying process where electrification of an electrophotographic sensitive body is carried out by direct injection of charge by having magnetic particles impressed with voltage brought into contact with it, a developing process where developing is carried out with toner containing inorganic particles and a process where residue toner on the electrophotographic sensitive body surface after a transfer process is recovered in the developing process. In this case, a surface layer of the electrophotographic sensitive body is a charge injected layer with volume resistivity of 1×1010 to 1×1014Ω.cm and abrasion loss of the surface layer is 0.2 to 1.0μm for every 100,000 rotations of the electrophotographic sensitive body. |
