PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system in which setting of transit points and calculation of course can be facilitated. SOLUTION: Even when a course to a goal has been set or a vehicle is under guidance along such a course or when transit points have been set initially along with a goal, a user can set transit points additionally through operation at an additional transit point setting section 46. When transit points are set additionally at the additional transit point setting section 46, a course resetting section 47 resets a course to the initially set goal passing through all transit points including the additional transit points based on a road data read out at a CD-ROM control section 12.
