PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a rear projection type display device, to reduce an arrangement space and to improve portability. SOLUTION: This projection type display device has a stand type screen device 10 and an image projector 20. The stand type screen device 10 has a base part 100, a projector installation part 300 which is turnably mounted at the base part 100 in order to attachably and detachably install the image projector 20, supporting legs 200 which are turnably mounted at the base part 100 and a screen holding part which holds the screen and is turnably mounted at the supporting legs 200.
