PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enabled vertical setting of any type of medium among a plurality of types of storage media with different diameters without requirement for a conversion adapter. SOLUTION: Under the condition that a tray 11 is fed from the device body 10, a disc type storage medium is set in one side in the thickness direction of this tray 11, and the tray 11 is drawn into the device body 10 from such condition. Accordingly, the storage medium can be loaded to the device body 10 and the tray 11 can be set vertically with its thickness direction laid horizontally. The tray 11 is provided with a movable pawl 15 that can support in the vertical condition a plurality of types of storage medium in different diameters when such pawl 15 moves depending on the diameter of storage medium.
