PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-quality image whose positional deviation is small while restraining cost required for a memory by constituting so that at least one of the moving distance of the surface of a 1st photoreceptor, the moving distance of the surface of a 2nd photoreceptor and the moving distance of the surface of an intermediate transfer body can be adjusted. SOLUTION: Assuming that the moving distance of the surface of the photoreceptor 11 from an exposure point P1 on the photoreceptor 11 to a transfer point P3 to an intermediate transfer belt 10 is L1, the moving distance of the surface of the photoreceptor 12 from an exposure point P2 on the photoreceptor 12 to a transfer point P4 to the belt 10 is L3, and the moving distance of the surface of the belt 10 between the transfer points P3 and P4 is L2, L1 to L3 satisfy the relation of L1+L2=L3. In this device, at least one of L1 to L3 can be adjusted. Thus, the positional deviation of a toner image superposed on an intermediate transfer medium is corrected by adjusting any of L1 to L3. |
