PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify pretreatment of whole capillary columns included in a capillary cassette and the filling of gel and to improve the reproducibility of the results of capillary electrophoresis. SOLUTION: A chamber 3 is sealed by the holder 6 of a capillary cassette 2, and a holder 8 is fixed to a detection-side holder fixing member 7b. An acid solution container, an alkali solution container, a pure water container, and a drain container are arranged in a reservoir stage 9b provided with a dry chamber. A capillary array end 2b is sequentially brought into contact with an acid solution, an alkali solution, pure water, and gaseous nitrogen by a holder elevating/lowering mechanism 7a and a stage moving mechanism 9a, the inside of the chamber 3 is depressurized, and they are sequentially introduced into capillary columns 4 to be pretreated. Then a gel container is arranged in the chamber 3, the inside of the chamber 3 is pressurized, and the capillary columns 4 are filled with gel. |
