PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a diversity detection time in a communication system. SOLUTION: The system includes a 1st circuit 706 that is placed to receive a 1st synchronizing code to detect a transmission diversity signal. The 1st synchronizing code is modulated by a data signal. The 1st circuit generates a 1st output signal. A 2nd circuit 732 is placed to receive a plurality of prescribed signals. The 2nd circuit generates a channel estimate. Detection circuits 710, 712 are placed to receive the 1st output signal and the channel estimate. The detection circuits generate a signal corresponding to the data signal.
