PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directivity to a vibration restrictive force of an insulator and reduce errors when signals are recorded/reproduced to disc recording media. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a frame body 31 and a chassis 33 supported via an insulator 32 to the frame 31. A magnetic head for recording/reproducing to a floppy disk 4 or 26 by seeking in the nearly radial direction of the floppy disk is set to the chassis 33. The insulator 32 is formed in a shape to exert a high vibration restrictive effect in the seek direction of the magnetic head and lower a vibration restrictive force in other directions.
