PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup lens capable of maintaining desired optical performance, properly setting the power of a 1st lens and the power of a 2nd lens while a large back focus distance is secured, and being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: This image pickup lens is composed of a 1st lens consisting of a concave lens and a 2nd lens 2 consisting of a convex lens. The 1st surface of the 1st lens 1 is made aspherical, the value of the focal length of the 2nd lens 2 to the total focal length is 1.0 to 1.2, the surface interval between the 1st lens 1 and 2nd lens 2 is 0.5 to 1 time the focal length of the whole lens system, and the focal length of the 2nd lens is 0.25 to 0.9 time the focal length of the 1st lens 1.
