PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the inspection time of a gas leak in an analyzer and to easily specify the place of the gas leak. SOLUTION: This analyzer is constituted in such a way that a carrier-gas source, a carrier-gas purification part 5, an extraction part 6 which heats a sample and which extracts a gas, a gas detection part 7 which detects the gas and an evacuation port are connected in series in this order and that a component in the sample is analyzed on the basis of the detection of the gas. A first opening and shutting valve 1 is installed between the carrier-gas source and the carrier-gas purification part 5. A second opening and shutting valve 2 is installed between the carrier-gas purification part 5 and the extraction part 6. A third opening and shutting valve 3 is installed between the extraction part 6 and the gas detection part 7. A fourth opening and shutting valve 4 is installed between the gas detection part 7 and the evacuation port. In addition, a pressure gage 8 is connected across the first opening and shutting valve 1 and the second opening and shutting valve 2 A pressure gage 9 is connected across the second opening and shutting valve 2 and the third opening and shutting valve 3 A pressure gage 10 is connected across the third opening and shutting valve 3 and the fourth opening and shutting valve 4.
