The interior of a vat, reservoirs, bottles and flasks is rinsed with water including carbon dioxide gas. Preferred Features: The gas may be injected into water already containing carbon dioxide in gaseous form or in solution. Pressure and flow regulators control the injection of the gas under pressure into the water. The treated water is distributed into the vats using fixed or rotating pipes or sprayed as a foam.
