PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power breaking device that allows fitting detection capability to be improved, includes a small number of components, is small enough to reduce space and is reduced in cost. SOLUTION: In relation to a power breaking device for switching over a conducting state to a non-conducting state and vice versa between a load-side bus bar 3 and a power supply-side bus bar 4 by making a service plug 2 attachable to and detachable from a plug mounting part 14 formed in a device body 1, this device is so structured that when a plug housing 40 is mounted to the plug mounting part 14 with a tilting lever 41 of the service plug 2 kept nearly vertical, and the tilting lever 41 is inclined nearly to its horizontal position, a shaft part 49 formed in the tilting lever 41 pushes down a movable lever 32 of a microswitch 15 so as to allow the microswitch 15 to detect the conducting state between the load-side bus bar 3 and the power supply-side bus bar 4. |
