<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer image data expressing examination images in the past to an image output device without the stress of transfer waiting. SOLUTION: Concerning this image transfer system, image data 81-S3 inputted from an input modality 4 are displayed on an image display device 1, and the image data S1 expressing the examination image, with which observations are prepared, are preserved through a network 3 into an image preserving device 2 while applying key information K expressing such a state. When comparatively diagnosing the image expressed by the image data S4 and images in the past later, when a transfer request is sent to the image preserving device 2, the image data S1, to which the key information K is applied, are first transferred to the image display device 1 and concerning the other image data S2 and S3, thumbnail image data T2 and T3 are prepared and transferred to the image display device 1.</p> |
