PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a coil winding device which winds a rectangular wire around a core to wind the wire around the core without causing any strain in the wire. SOLUTION: A nozzle section 50 in which a nozzle 1 which feeds a rectangular wire 2 is fixed is supported by a three-dimensional moving mechanism through a nozzle section rotating mechanism 40, and the tilted angle of the nozzle 1 is made coincident with the inclined angle of the wire 2 when the wire 2 is wound around a core 3, by titling the nozzle 1 against the core 3 supported by a spindle 61 in the X-axis direction through a coil winding jig 70 by rotating the nozzle section 50 around the Y-axis by means of the nozzle section rotating mechanism 4.
