摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computing architecture for an overland type vehicle. SOLUTION: The computing architecture is provided with a data network 18 composed of plural mutual connection processors, the sensor of a first group for responding to environmental conditions around a vehicle 10, the sensor of a second group for responding to the hardware system of the vehicle and a data network 18 constituted of a map data base containing data expressing topography in a map area around the vehicle. A vehicle environment modeling program is run on the data network and while using outputs from the sensors of the first and second groups and the map data base, a data model expressing the vehicle and the environment around the vehicle is supplied and continuously updated. Vehicle operation programming application is executed on the data network and while using the data model, the desired vehicle operation in the vehicle environment is determined. A driver interface receives the input of the driver of the vehicle.
