ACCEPTANCE LIMITING METHOD FOR SERVER COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly limit acceptance based on the load state of a server at the time of limiting the acceptance of a request for processing from a client at a server side in a client server system. SOLUTION: A load state value 23 is a numerical value indicating the load of a server collected by a load detecting part 25, and calculated by a load state value calculating part 26. A load judgment table 24 stores the load judgment value of each function corresponding to a processing program 28 for each function. At the time of accepting a request for processing from a client 1, a server accepting part 27 compares the load judgment value of the requested processing program 28 for each function with a load state value 23 at that point of time by referring to the load judgment table 24, and judges the propriety of the acceptance of the request for processing according to the compared result.
