PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate temperature in a vegetable compartment, and the like, accurately by providing a compartment being regulated to a specified temperature through a thermoelectric conversion element having a heat absorbing face and a heat radiating face of Peltier effect in addition to a compartment being cooled through refrigeration cycle. SOLUTION: The refrigerator body 1 is internally sectioned into a plurality of compartments, e.g. a refrigeration compartment 5, a vegetable compartment 11, and a freezing compartment 7, from above by section walls 2-4. The refrigeration compartment 5, the freezing compartment 7, and a low temperature compartment 10 are cooled through refrigeration cycle but the vegetable compartment 11 is regulated to a specified temperature through a thermoelectric conversion element employing Peltier effect. More specifically, first heat exchanging faces 32a, 32b of thermoelectric conversion elements 32, 33 having a heat absorbing face and a heat radiating face being switched by altering the polarity of a DC power supply being applied through Peltier effect are tightened thermally conductively to the lower surface of a vegetable container 13 made of a thermally conductive material, e.g. a metallic member such as an aluminum member by means of screws. |
