PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent noise from being generated and a person from being injured without delaying the rising of indoor temperature immediately after starting operation. SOLUTION: A radiator 11 that is heated by a burner 7 for burning fuel is arranged while being exposed to a middle part in upper and lower directions on the front surface of a body. At the same time, a blowing path 19 reaching an outlet 15 at the lower portion of the front surface of the body through the reverse surface side of the radiator 11 from a suction port 13 at the upper portion of the front surface of the body is formed, and a blower 14 is arranged in the blowing path 19. When the difference between room temperature and setting temperature is large, fuel is supplied to the burner 7, and at the same time the blower 14 is driven for rapidly heating by radiation heat from the radiator 11 and hot wind being blown out of the outlet 15. On the other hand, when the difference between the room temperature and setting temperature is small, a small amount of fuel is supplied to the burner 7 and at the same time the drive of the blower 14 is stopped for quietly heating only by radiation heat from the radiator 11. |
