PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing valve to simultaneously realize adjustment of a discharge water temperature and a discharge water amount and reduce a cost. SOLUTION: A mixing valve comprises a rotary valve to determine a mixture ratio and a poppet valve to decide a flow rate. A valve element 20 is formed into a shape that the valve element of the rotary valve and the valve element of a poppet valve are formed integrally with each other. A valve seat body 21 is formed such that a water introduction chamber 34 and a hot water introduction chamber 35 are formed at the rotary valve, a mixing chamber is formed between the rotary valve and the poppet valve, and a part situated downstream from the poppet valve communicates with a discharge port. When the valve element 20 is rotated by a lever 22, water and not water introduced to the water introduction chamber 34 and the hot water introduction chamber 35 in a mixture ratio corresponding to its rotation position flow through the rotary valve and are mixed together. Thereafter, when, by inclining the lever 22, the valve element 20 is moved upward from a water stop position, shown in Fig, mixture water is discharged in a flow rate corresponding to its height position. By rotation and inclination of the lever 22, a discharge water temperature and a discharge water amount are simultaneously adjustable.
