PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact structure of a switch superior in operation reliability by restraining a conduction failure due to adherence of a foreign matter from easily occurring by changing the shape of a contact. SOLUTION: In this contact structure of a switch that has contacts 13, 17 facing to each other and forming a couple, and opens and closes by means of mutual contact and separation of the contacts, the one-side contact 17 is formed into a doughnut-shaped contact and the other-side contact 13 is formed into a crossbar-shaped contact extending in the direction traversing the doughnut-shaped contact. Therefore, the contacts forming the couple become a combination of the doughnut-shaped contact and the crossbar-shaped contact, the crossbar-shaped contact abuts on the doughnut-shaped contact on both sides straddling the central part of the doughnut-shaped contact, the mutual contact points of the contacts comprise multiple points (two points), so that a conduction failure becomes hard to occur and operation reliability is enhanced.
