SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device has a 1st conductive layer GL formed extending outside from at least one of the liquid crystal sealing areas of a 1st substrate and a 2nd substrate, and an insulating layer GI formed covering the 1st conductive layer GL, and is in contact with the 1st conductive layer GL outside of a display area AR, and has a terminal GP extending on the insulating layer GI, and is provided with a 2nd conductive layer SH differing from the 1st conductive layer GL in the potential between the display area AR and the terminal GP on the insulating layer GI. |
