PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier adapted to a small-sized dehumidifier such as, for example, a domestic dehumidifier having little number of components by performing an excellent dehumidifying function. SOLUTION: A substantially U-shaped condenser 3 is provided in a dehumidifier case 2 having an air suction port h1 and an air exhaust port h2. An evaporator 4 is provided in a recess 3c of the condenser 3. Atmospheric air is inputted from the port h1 into the case 2 by using a blower 5 provided in the case 2. The air inputted into the case 2 is heated by one half 33a of the condenser 3, and then heated by the evaporator 4 to be dehumidified. The air dehumidified by the evaporator 4 is heated by the other half 33b of the condenser 3, and then returned from the port h2 into a room.
