PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multi-chamber pipe for installing the heat exchanger of automobile which can be utilized easily for different liquid heat carrier or gas heat carrier by forming one chamber to have a larger short side than other chambers. SOLUTION: Multi-chamber pipes 2a-2h are used for installing the heat exchanger of automobile comprising two heat exchangers. Each multi-chamber pipe 2a-2h has two chambers 3, 4 each forming a continuous channel and a single or a plurality of chambers 3, 4 is sectioned additionally into a plurality of passages extending in parallel. Both chambers 3, 4 of each sectioned multi- chamber pipe 2a-2h are formed into flat tubes and the long side of each chamber 3, 4 is made wider than the short side thereof thus making the short side of one chamber 4 wider than that of the other chamber 3. According to the structure, the multi-chamber pipe can be utilized easily for different liquid heat carrier or gas heat carrier.
