PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave darkroom at low cost which is less hazardous when the absorber drop and safe without causing fire, although it needs high cost and large weight for an incombustible electric-wave absorber. SOLUTION: Related to an electric wave darkroom 1 where an electric wave absorber is installed on a ceiling surface 2 and four side wall surfaces 3, an incombustible electric-wave absorber 10 is installed at the lower side part of each side wall surface 3 (from a floor surface 4 to a specified height), while a non-incombustible electric-wave absorber 11 is installed on the remaining upper-side part on the side wall surface 3 as well as the ceiling surface 2. The non-incombustible electric-wave absorber 10 comprises a base material of honeycomb structure body whose main component is a hydrate inorganic compound.
