PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide-a switch capable of being-miniaturized by a rational arrangement. SOLUTION: This switch 11 is provided with bushings 13, 14 penetratingly supported on both side walls of a body case 12, a fixed electrode 16 formed at the inner end of the one-side bushing 13, a movable electrode 20 which is turnably formed at the inner end of the other bushing 14 and corresponding to the fixed electrode 16 in a manner capable of abutting on and separating from it, and a switching shaft 31 for transmitting the switching operation of a switching link mechanism to the movable electrode 20 through an operation lever 33 and a drive link 34. In this case, arrester elements 27a, 27b are oppositely arranged on the side opposite to the turning side of the movable electrode in the body case 12 such that their center axes are oriented to the central direction in the body case 12. The switching shaft 31 is arranged at the central part of a space R formed with the arrester elements 27a, 27b and the bottom face in the body case 12. Thereby, the operation lever 33 and the drive link 34 are rationally arranged and the switch 11 can be miniaturized.
