PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time for starting a system by investigating a virtual address to be referred to at the time of executing a program and the mapping position of a program code to load the program into a main storage device. SOLUTION: When CPU 1 reads a starting program code(PGC) from a starting ROM 2, a program(PG) for controlling loading is loaded into a main storing device 4 from a PG storing ROM 3. Next, in accordance with the describing order of an information table stored in ROM 5 for storing an information table, the PGC is successively loaded into the prescribed address of the device 4, which is described in a map managing means 7, to execute the PGC. Then, the CPU 1 inputs a PG counter value, accesses a virtual address decoder means 6, and accesses a virtual address decoder means 6 to refer to the address of the PGC actually mapped to the device 4. By this virtual address, the CPU 1 processes as if the PCG is loaded into an address in link information.
