AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FOR GEAR TYPE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and low-cost automatic transmission for a gear type transmission which is decreased in the number of parts and simple in structure. SOLUTION: A select mechanism comprises a select motor 23 controllable in a forward and reversing rotation manner; a select shaft 19 rotated in a decelerated state by a gear 22; a select sensor 28 to sense the working angle of the select shaft 19; a select lever 17 oscillated with it fixed on the select shaft 19; and a select shift rod 5 engaged with the select lever 17. A shift mechanism comprises a shift motor controllable in a forward and reversing rotation manner; a shift shaft 9 decelerated by a gear; a worm wheel gear 8 oscillated in a rotation direction by the shift shaft 9; a select shift rod 5 displaced in a rotation direction through oscillation of the worm wheel gear 8 and axially movably engaged with the worm wheel gear 8; and a shift sensor to sense the working angle of the select shift rod 5.
