PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna controller that receives Ach data by applying decimation control to switching of sector antennas, decides Ach data with the highest reception level among the received Ach data and whose base station identification code is authenticated (at a low error rate) or the like and uses the sector antenna able to receive the decided Ach data to communicate with a base station. SOLUTION: Decimation control is applied to sector antennas 201 at an interval of one antenna, received Ach data (base station identification code or the like), its reception timing (deviation of a terminal station timing with respect to base station timing) are detected, a reception level and a sector number are efficiently retrieved and a control section 213 sequentially reads them to decide the Ach data with the highest reception level among the received Ach data and whose base station identification code is authenticated or the like (at a low error rate), a switch 203 is thrown to the position of the sector able to receive the decided Ach data, the deviation in the detected reception timing is corrected and frame synchronization to the base station is established. Thus, the Ach retrieval time can be reduced to a half of that of a conventional controller. |
