PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for polygon scanner which can specularly be finished with high precision and to provide the machining device. SOLUTION: This rotor 1 has a horizontal surface part in a regularly angular shape to be machined specularly, a rotary shaft 2 pivoted in the center of rotation of the horizontal surface part, and a cylindrical rotor part 3 which is concentric with the rotary shaft 2 and has a taper shape 1d on an inner peripheral surface around the rotary shaft where a cylindrical recessed part is formed above the horizontal surface part and rotor part 3. Further, the machining device for the rotor 1 has a holding jig 12 chucking the rotary shaft 2 of the rotor 1 from below and the holding jig 12 has its tip tapered nearly equally to the taper shape and moves close to the base end part of the rotary shaft 1 to chuck a wide area. |
