PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium loading device suited for thinning and reductions in size and weight, and capable of releasing the loading/fixing of a disk, and a disk device. SOLUTION: For a fixing releasing means 40, a clamping member 41 is formed nearly in a crescent shape by providing a fixing part 43 and a releasing part 45 in opposite sides sandwiching a rotation center hole 42, and by rotating the plural clamping members 41, a disk is lifted to an upper part of a rotary base means 10. Thus, only by carrying the disk to a specified position, the disk is loaded, fixed and released, and a thin and easily handled disk device is provided.
