PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of a resistance value of an electron gun resistor of a cathode-ray tube by improving a structure of a resistor element and a forming method therefor. SOLUTION: In an electron gun resistor of a cathode-ray tube, a resistor element 31 formed at the one side surface of an insulation substrate 30 is structured by a plurality of linear high resistance patterns 36 that is parallelly formed in a row and a plurality of low resistance patterns 37 that is connected to those linear high resistance patterns 36.
