PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound decoding device capable of in-channel transmission of non-sound signals such as a DTMF(dual tone multi-frequency) signal while enabling opposed connection with conventional decoders in regard to providing of highly efficient sound encoding and decoding devices maintaining sound transmission quality primarily included in an encoding algorithm while improving transmission characteristics of non-sound signals such as the DTMF signal. SOLUTION: A decoder 201 is provided with a sound/non-sound discriminating part 420 discriminating whether a signal transmitted from an encoder is a sound signal or a non-sound signal and outputting the discrimination, and a correction process function block 423 applying a correction process concerning a predetermined sound parameter. The correction process by the correction process function block 423 is applied in accordance with a discrimination result from the sound/non-sound discriminating part 420. |
