WIDE VISUAL FIELD ANGLE POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wide visual field angle polarizing plate allowing the formation of a liquid crystal display device which hardly gives rise to the occurrence of luminance unevenness by a heat history and exhibits good visibility at a wide visual field angle. SOLUTION: This wide visual field angle polarizing plate is constituted by laminating one or both of a luminance improving plate 3 or phase difference plate via a tacky adhesive layer 2 on a polarizing plate 1 provided with transparent protective layer 12 and 13 consisting of optical compensation phase difference plates 13 on at least one surface of the polarizing film 11 and has the tacky adhesive layers 4 on one or both surfaces of the outside surface of the laminate. The tacky adhesive layers of the whole part described above consist of the tacky adhesive layers of <=60 g/mm2 in 1000% modulus at 90 deg.C. The stress generated at the time of heating may be relaxed and the occurrence of the luminance unevenness may be prevented.
