<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain water-tightness between connection faces of joint bodies and ensure the maintenance of a water-tight condition in the direction of pipe periphery without complicating a structure so as to prevent water leakage and water inundation. SOLUTION: This joint for corrugated pipe consists of a joint body 1 which is provided with protruding fringes for tightening 12, 12 protruding toward the direction of outer periphery from both end parts of a circular arc part 11 and is made of a synthetic resin and a water- tight packing 2 which is provided with flange fringes 22, 22 protruding toward the direction of outer periphery from both end parts of a circular arc part 21 and is made of an elastic material. In the joint body 1, engaging projections 17, 17 engaging with a bottom part of a corrugated pipe are formed on inner peripheral faces of both end parts b, b in the axial direction, and a protruding bar 14 protruding along the axial direction of the joint body 1 is formed on a surface side of the protruding fringes 12, 12 and a bolt hole for tightening 16 is formed on its outer side. In the water-tight packing 2, a groove 24 fitting in the protruding bar 14 in the joint body 1 is formed along the direction of axial line on the rear surface side of the flange fringes 22, 22, and a surface side part of the groove 24 protrudes by a proper thickness (o) on the surface side more than surfaces of the protruding fringes 12, 12 in the joint body 1 in a condition in which it is mounted on the joint body 1.</p> |
