摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security circuit for a semiconductor storage device and a security system having a security function which is further strong and difficult to clarify. SOLUTION: An arithmetic circuit 20 performs a prescribed arithmetic operation based on an uncertain value generated by an uncertain value generating circuit 16. In an outside system which performs access to a semiconductor storage device, the same arithmetic operation is executed in the same way as the arithmetic circuit 20 based on the uncertain value, and the arithmetic result is inputted to an interface circuit 3 as an input password. When a specific password signal 21 indicating the arithmetic result is made coincident with a password signal 12 indicating an input password by the arithmetic circuit 20, a security release signal 14 is outputted from a comparator circuit 13. At the time of receiving the security release signal 14 from the comparator circuit 13, a bus control circuit 6 activates a memory space 9 after confirming that a security release condition is fulfilled.
