PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing ring to facilitate manufacture and indicate excellent using characteristics for a long using period. SOLUTION: A packing comprises a support ring 1 formed of a rigid material; and a lip ring 2 made of PTFE. The lip ring 2 has a holding part 3 and a seal part 4 and the holding part 3 is coupled with the support ring 1 by an intermediate layer 5 made of a polymer material. In the so foamed packing ring, the holding part 3 and the seal part 4 are formed of two kinds of PTFE compounds different from each other and suited for respective purposes. |
