PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a band-pass optical filter which may be inexpensively produced at a good yield. SOLUTION: This band-pass optical filter are constituted by forming N stages of single cavity type filters on a substrate 12, which single cavity type filters comprise the multilayered dielectric films formed by lamination of dielectric substances having refractive indices of two kinds, nH and nL. In such a case, the uppermost layers of the respective single cavity type filters C1 to C3 are respectively provided with additive layers W1 to W3 consisting of the same dielectric substances as those of the uppermost layers. The deviations in the pass wavelengths of the respective single cavity type filters C1 to C3 are corrected by these additive layers, by which the desired pass wavelengths are embodied.
