PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly adapt change in parameters of an internal combustion engine by interposing a valve adjustment device in a bypass conduit between a high pressure side and a low pressure side of a pump for adjusting the delivery of the pump and by electrically controlling the device in a pressure medium feeder for a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: A gear pump 30 feeding pressure medium used for a continuously variable transmission has its inside space partitioned into a low pressure section and a high pressure section by an internal tooth gear arranged eccentrically to a pinion. A valve adjustment device 28 interposed in a bypass conduit 62 detouring the gear pump 30 is provided for adjusting the presser force of a movable presser plate (sealed plate) constituting an end side connecting part of the high pressure section. The valve adjustment device 28 is provided with a measurement throttle and a normally adjustable three-way control valve, the measurement throttle is guided to a control part C of a pressure balancer 68 by a control conduit 60, and the pressure balancer 68 has an electromagnet 90 connected to its piston controlled according to the parameter of an engine.
