PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire/cable capable of reducing the material costs while maintaining excellent characteristics possessed by a thermoplastic polyurethane, and improved in chemical resistance. SOLUTION: In a wire/cable having a coating layer made up of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer outer layer and a polyolefin inner layer, an intermediate layer 4 made up of a partially saponified substance of an ethylene- vinyl acetate copolymer is provided between the outer layer 5 and the inner layer 3. This wire/cable exhibits excellent chemical resistance, buckling resistance, heat resistance, and low-temperature buckling resistance, and realizes manufacturing cost reduction, and therefore this is useful in industries.
