PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently eliminate dust and dirt without damaging a case and a recording medium and to improve reliability by fixing a liner, and pressing a shell half that is vibrated by ultrasonic waves with the blowing force of air. SOLUTION: For cleaning by a cleaning device 20, an upper shell half 1 is placed in the state that a pad base 21 is lowered, and the pad base 21 is raised. Then, while the upper shell half 1 is floated by the blowing of air by an energization means A so that it is brought into contact with an ultrasonic horn 23, the shell half 1 is vibrated from a tip surface 23a of the ultrasonic horn 23 by ultrasonic vibration generated by an ultrasonic oscillator 22, and hence dust and dirt such as fiber rubbish and powder retained inside are liberated and eliminated by the vibration of a liner 5, thus the amount of dust and dirt generating during use is reduced and the generation of dropout can be suppressed.
