PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate workability when obtaining a pin-shaped leader member that is intended to replace a leader block, which requires to have sufficient precision, to be used for drawing out a tape in a one-reel type tape cartridge,. SOLUTION: In a tape cartridge, one tape reel around which a tape is wound is rotatably accommodated within a case body, and the starting end of the tape is fixed to a leader member and drawn out through an opening provided at the case main body toward an apparatus by means of a tape drawing member. In this case, the leader member is composed of a pin-shaped member and a clamp member having a substantially C-letter shape. The pin member is formed by providing a tape accommodating section 91, a first collar section 92, a secured section 93, and a second collar section 94 in this order from the center of the leader member toward the outside. The pin member is formed by combining a plurality of members.
