PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perceive a caller is an unusual caller by reproducing ring tone data which are transmitted in a call-in mode and then transmitting the reproduced ring tone data as the ring tones by a loudspeaker. SOLUTION: This telephone set consists of a sound recording means, which supplies ring tone data from the outside via a telephone transmitter, such as a microphone 7, a call-out ring tone data storage means which stores the ring tones as the ring tone data and is used in common with a voice data memory 9 in a busy mode, a transmitting means, consisting of a voice compressing/expanding part 6 which transmits the stored call-out ring tone data in a call-out mode, a call-in ring tone data storage means which stores the call-out tone data transmitted in a call-in mode and is used in common with the memory 9 in a busy mode and a reproduction means which are used for an amplifier 14 and a speaker 13 to reproduce the stored call-out ring tone data and to transmit these data through the loudspeaker 13 as the ring tones. In such a constitution, the original ring tones are produced by the sound recording means of the microphone 7 and transmitted from the call-out side to ring a telephone set of the opposite party side. Thus, the setting of ring tones can be omitted at the call-in side and it is possible to infer from whom the call originates. |
