PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and increase the disk rotating speed, when data are read, for disk drive equipment. SOLUTION: This disk drive equipment consists of a stator core 2, drive winding 4, a bearing means arranged in the central part of a stator core, a spindle 6 retained rotatably by the bearing means, a rotor yoke 7, a drive magnet 8 having a drive magnetic pole 9, a disk bearer drive and rotating a disk medium, etc. A thrust direction width W2 of the drive magnetic pole 9 is made at most 120% of a thrust direction width W1 of the stator core 2. A difference width W3 between a center C2 of the thrust direction width W2 of the drive magnetic pole and the center C1 of the thrust direction width W1 of the stator core is made at most 10% of the thrust direction width W1 of the stator core 2. |
