PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently restore a coordinate system distorted by the intervention of an optical system in front of a CCD camera by storing information from a coordinate origin to the coordinate of image data to be a correction object in the form of differential data. SOLUTION: First and second coordinate data memories 15 and 16 store respective coordinates (addresses) for image correction in a differential form and attain the reduction of storage capacity. First and second correction data reading means 17 and 18 reads the image data of coordinates stored in first and second image memories 3 and 4 when a power source is turned on. In that case, since image data are distorted by front glass 26, differential data are successively acquired from the first and second coordinate data memories 15 and 16 and a corrected new coordinate is calculated. Thus, even when there is the optical system such as glass plate in the shape of curved surface on the front face of the CCD camera and the front image is picked up while-being distorted, the correction can be easily performed. |
