PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the loss of heat energy by eliminating the need for a large amount of cooling water to reduce the generation of reevaporated steam. SOLUTION: A condensate recovery pump 25 is connected to a boiler 1 by a condensate recovery pipe 8. The condensate recovery pipe 8 is branched off to connect a feed water tank 11 to a heat exchanger 26 respectively through valves 10 and 29. Relatively hot condensed water being reevaporated is supplied to the heat exchanger 26 to achieve a lower temperature thereof by heat exchange with cooling water, thereby preventing the diffusion of the reevaporated steam.
