PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portal which automatically corrects an information request as functions of a designated position and/or a designated time by automatically selecting the designated time on the basis of a clock signal and the designated position on the basis of a position signal. SOLUTION: Compound display 100 is shown on the monitor of a user in the case of accessing a network through a spatial/temporal portal. Information presented in a configuration cell in the display 100 satisfies an information request by the spatial/temporal portal that is automatically corrected as a designated position, a designated time or a function of either of them. A user uses a retrieve area cell 108 and can access a retrieval engine utilizing retrieval that makes a text with which specified information should be retrieved from different databases as a base. Further, the user uses a spatial/temporal locator cell 102 and can manually select a designated position and/or a designated time used for automatic correction of the spatial/temporal portal.
