PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conductive pastes excellent in conductivity, in migration resistance, and in the rate of change of conductor resistance after an electric field is applied thereto for a long time in hot and humid surroundings, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: According to this method, a conductive paste is manufactured containing carboxylic acid, conductive powder made of copper powder or copper alloy powder with surfaces generally coated with silver leaving some parts exposed, a binder, and an organic solvent, and another conductive paste is manufactured by generally coating surfaces of copper powder or copper alloy powder with silver leaving some parts exposed, then adding thereto a resin composition including carboxylic acid, a binder, and an organic solvent. and mixing them together.
