PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate a proper point while sufficiently considering even returned articles as well by providing a control means for subtracting a point corresponding to the amount of the returned article from the cumulative point when the article is returned. SOLUTION: A bus line 12 is connected to a CPU 11 of a main control part and a ROM 13 and a RAM 14 are connected to that bus line 12. The CPU 11 is functioned as a discriminating means for discriminating whether the returned article is an actually transacted article or not on the basis of a transaction history file and a membership data file in the RAM 14 when that article is returned. Further, the CPU 11 is also functioned as the control means for calculating a return point corresponding to the amount of the returned article (the total amount of respective articles in the case of plural articles) on the basis of the contents of a point reference amount data file in the RAM 14 and subtracting that return point from the cumulative point when the decision result of the decision means is positive.
