STAMPER FOR INFORMATION RECORDING DISK, ITS PRODUCTION, INFORMATION RECORDING DISK AND PRODUCTION OF INFORMATION RECORDING DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a stamper for an information recording disk which can correspond to production of the information recording disk having finer pit patterns. SOLUTION: A rugged surface corresponding to the pit pattern of the information recording disk such as a CD-ROM is formed on a silicon substrate 1 by using an electron beam/photolithography method. Then an amorphous alloy 4 having a supercooling liquid temperature region is pressed to the rugged surface of the silicon substrate 1 while holding the amorphous alloy 4 in the supercooling liquid temperature region to form a molded transfer surface S1 on the amorphous alloy 4. Since the amorphous alloy 4 held in the supercooling liquid temperature region has low viscosity, fine rugged part is filled with the amorphous alloy 4 and the molded transfer surface S1 of high transfer precision can be obtained.
