PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a single-lens reflex electronic still camera where an optical low pass filter is placed in a narrow space of a camera main body. SOLUTION: An optical low pass filter 500 is supported around a bearing hole 506 in a rocking enable way by inserting a 2nd spindle 308 of a 1st mirror 300 to the bearing hole 506. A guide shaft 508 of the optical low pass filter 500 is inserted to a guide groove 108 so as to be guided between a lower end 108A to an upper end 108B of the groove 108 along the guide groove 108. When the 1st mirror 300 is rocked to a 2nd jump-up position, the entire area of the optical low pass filter 500 is placed at a transmission position at which the entire area orthogonally faces an image pickup optical path L. When the 1st mirror 300 is rocked to the 1st position shown in Figure 1, the entire area of the optical low pass filter 500 is placed at a standby position that is displayed downward from the transmission position in the orthogonal direction of the image pickup optical path L.
